As Singapore has been one of the largest trading centre for spices since 16th century, there are many old stocks of agarwood and Oud oils have settled down here. For example, this amazing oil has been stored in Singapore for more than 45 years. In 1980s, the price of agarwood was very low, even for Kynam which was only $80 per gram. So one dealer here made a historic mistake in early 1980s, he used hundreds of kilograms woods, most of which were Sinking ones and some high quality one from Hainan together, to extract this batch of oil.
