Agarwood - 伽羅 Kynam Powder

Kynam (伽羅) or Kyara, is the rarest and most precious grade of agarwood in Japanese Kōdō. It is said that one requires three lifetimes of accumulated merit or virtue to have the opportunity to smell it.

This batch of Kynam powder comes from a single piece sourced from Japan and was carefully collected during the process of crafting beads. As only the richest, most resin-saturated heartwood is selected for bead making, the resulting powder is exceptionally oily, dense, and aromatic.

It can be carried with you in a small snuff bottle, allowing you to appreciate its fragrance at any moment, or gently heated in an incense burner or over charcoal. Only a tiny amount is needed to fill an entire space with an extraordinarily deep and ethereal aroma, like a breath from paradise.
