Attar & Parfum - Wuyi Fantasy

From a long time ago, we wanted to incorporate Cliff tea into incense. Unfortunately, the substances in Cliff tea are not suitable for burning. So since last year, we have tried to extract the oil of Cliff tea to make perfume instead. Finally, we got a little more than 1 tola of oil from 1 kilogram of Zhengyan (正岩) Cliff tea. All I can say that it is simply amazing, it's as deep and rich as the aged Oud. Once blended with our vintage Oud, it creates another new base notes I have never smelled before.

For this perfume, we create a fantastic world of Wuyi Mountain (武夷山). It is known worldwide for the beautiful scenery, abundant biodiversity and the unique Cliff tea. The geographical environment here is very special to be able to become such a sacred place since ancient times, it was recognized as one of the cave heaven and blessed land (洞天). In Chinese Taoist legends, it is connecting with the heaven and the Taoists who practice sincerely here could be able to enter the heaven and ascend to immortality (成仙).

If you’ve been there before, you’ll know how powerful these mountains are. Every plant and animal that lives here is full of vitality. So we use Cliff tea and vintage Oud to create a very deep and energetic base notes, and use flowers and other fresh essential oils to depict all the living creatures there.
